What a great Simul we played last week, Oscar had finished his exams and agreed to play the lot of us simultaneously, 17 games played and Oscar lost 0 but ended up taking two draws with young heavy weight Martin Z and Jonathan B.

It was a fun experience for all who participated, especially for those few juniors that had never played in a simul before, one of them said it was a great learning experience playing against this tough opponent, and thats a great thing to hear i think.

And Oscar said he had a great time playing us, it was the first time he played a simul against Papatoetoe chess Club but he assured us it will not be his last, although next time maybe not in the middle of the school exam term as that gets very busy.
